Creation of temporary building for the worldwide centre of Doctor Who museum and Visitor Experience whilst at Holder Mathias. The scheme utilized a standard tented solution in a novel way to create a sinuous organic home for the world famous exhibition, following its relocation from London. The building, sitting in the heart of Cardiff's Inner Harbour needed to be better than a standard marquee solution and reflect the 'alien' nature of the visitor experience, but also be delivered on a very tight budget. The temporary structure has proved a success and attracts over a 250,000 visitors a year from across the world.
