This Cotswolds house was formed from three smalled terraced cottages along with a 1990s extension. Unusually the rear elevation (facing the road) is completely blank, and combined with the internal layout, this has resulted in a compromised interior in terms of daylighting and flow. Our proposal is to create a contemporary zinc clad extension, opening up the ground floor to create a contemporary family kitchen / dining / entertaining space and to provide a glass bridge to access newly enlarged first floor bedrooms.
