This 1940s former garage workshop in Hay on Wye conservation area was granted planning in 2017. The building was designed to be stripped back to the original steel frame and completely rejuvenated to form a 7 bed room home and bed and breakfast business for the clients. The interior converted with a contemporary with exposed birch ply skin, with exposed steel frame and polished concrete floors. The original stone wall exposed to the rear with a triple height space up to the roof. The key feature of the five bathroom pods with have tapered roofs up to a single rooflight, each form an exciting feature within both the bedrooms and the communal spaces.
