This unique 1960s modernist house was a time capsule of the era both inside and out. Absolutely cutting edge at the time of its construction both in terms of design and the technology used within, it was in need of an update and refresh. The exterior was restored using specialist paint coatings, the windows upgraded to triple glazing and the flat roofs insulated and recovered with single-ply membrane. The kitchen and bathroom fittings were replaced with modern designs, but otherwise the original design intent was preserved, in particular the extensive internal hardwood timber panelling which was restored by a french polisher.
