St David's College nears completion

Around five years ago we were approached by the college to come up with some ideas for revamping the appearance of their tired school building from the 1970s. Although we had approval for the scheme, it took a further four years for the school to get its funding.

The scheme when it re emerged in Spring 2021, needed to completed quickly to comply with the funding arrangements and the academic year. Works started in June 2021 with Andrew Scott Ltd and although delayed by material availability will be finished over the next few weeks

The choice of cladding (Rockpanel) together with highlights in the college colour (purple) have transformed the building. There are new windows throughout the main block, which have been reconfigured and now include solar control glass and integral blinds. This will reduce the excessive solar gain in the summer and reduce heating bills in the winter
